My professional passion is healthy, safe, and beautiful trees.

If at all possible (and reasonably cost effective), I will do everything I can to help your trees add value and enjoyment to your property.

I am an ISA Certified Arborist. My certification number is FL-9415A.

 

Being certified means that I have worked in Tree Care (much more than) long enough to prove my experience, and I have passed a rigorous test covering 10 different categories of tree care knowledge. I have also kept my certification current through continuing education requirements via ISA seminars and approved course work.

​I am also ISA Tree Risk Assessment Qualified, which means I can perform a formal and legally defensible assessment of the risk your tree(s) may present to persons and/or property and determine if and how that risk can be mitigated to a level comfortable for the owner.

I have over 20 years of experience in nearly every aspect of tree care, and almost all of that experience has been in working with Florida trees,

including recovery operations from 8 hurricanes.

I am also a member in good standing of the Florida Chapter of ISA.

 

"ISA" is the International Society of Arboriculture - the governing body of the Tree Care industry. From the ISA website: "The International Society of Arboriculture, Inc. (ISA) is a voluntary, non- profit, professional 
association. ISA certifies qualified practitioners in the field of arboriculture, who have met the professional knowledge standards established by ISA."

 

As a credentialed member of ISA, I am a signatory to the ISA Code of Ethics. From the ISA website: "The ISA Code of Ethics establishes appropriate and enforceable professional conduct standards and explains the minimal ethical behavior requirements for credential holders and candidates. The ISA Code of Ethics also serves as a professional resource for arborists, as well as for those served by credential holders and candidates, with respect to such standards and requirements."

I do currently work full-time for a local Asheville NC tree company - Arbory Tree Services, LLC. This is a new start-up company. I have come onboard to function as Team lead to get the3 company established and work accomplished in a safe, efficient, and professional manner, while also offering Certified Arborist services throughout the local area. Any Certified Arborist work performed will be as a salaried employee of Arbory, and all payments will be to the company, not to myself. However, I will perform my Arborist services as an independent Arborist. While I may recommend something be done to benefit yourself and your trees by Arbory, it is not required that you use Arbory for me to provide you with professional Arborist service
